Introduction to Qigong and Meditation

 

Awakening Stillness Qigong was developed by Buddhist monks to use between periods of meditation to restore circulation and maintain health.  Our workshop host, Cleo Wolf was one of those monks.  

 

Join Cleo as she guides participants through a gentle Qigong sequence followed by an introduction to meditation.  This sequence can be performed sitting, standing or without any physical movement at all, it is truly accessible to anyone and can be readily adapted to any level of physical ability.  This workshop will include a variety of self massage, stretching and traditional movements.

  • No experience required, ideal for all ages and abilities
  • Loose comfortable clothing works best
  • Shoes are optional
