Self-Massage and Restorative Yoga
for Stress Relief
Take some time for midwinter self-care!
In this 2 hour workshop you will learn self-massage techniques to find relief from muscular tension, busy minds, sluggishness, trouble sleeping and midwinter blues. One easy way to promote wellness and to leave those troubles behind is self-massage. Self-massage is a time-tested methodology for promoting health and a sense of wellbeing. Daily self-massage reminds us that we are here to enjoy and celebrate life rather than to just get through it.
After a short break and snacks, you will be guided through a restorative yoga class with aromatherapy where you will experience deep release and rest. Restorative yoga poses are held longer and help us to cultivate conscious relaxation teach us where we are holding tension. No yoga experience is necessary. Dress comfortably in loose clothing.

This is a specific type of swelling called lymphedema. If you have swelling and it’s getting in the way of your life or causing you discomfort, we can help!
