She studied at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in MA for her 200-hour Yoga Teacher certification in 2010. Kripalu translates as Compassion, and Joy brings this essential element to each moment with patients and clients.
Joy is grateful to integrate her knowledge of physical therapy with the science and art of yoga to assist individuals on their healing journeys. She has special interests in orthopedic issues of the spine, prenatal & postpartum populations, and athletes returning to sport. Her passion lives in empowering individuals to release movement habits and realize new, pain-free ways of being. She is inspired by the holistic community at Jade Integrated Health and is thrilled to be on board.
She enjoys being in nature and is currently learning how to surf.
