Nurture and Be Nurtured

Family is an important part of who we are at Jade, that is why we strive to provide a positive and nurturing environment for all moms and moms-to-be. We have broken this page into two parts. The first is for the initial leg of your journey through pregnancy, followed by when you have your baby in your arms. If you have any questions on any services, please do not hesitate to contact us, we are just a phone call away.

Dad’s shouldn’t feel left out either!  If they are feeling any of the physical scaring of caring for a newborn or toddler, we are ready for them too! Physical therapy, acupuncture, massage and yoga are all great tools for keeping the body in shape and pain free while raising your children.

"Jade is amazing! Thanks to prenatal yoga, acupuncture, and massage I made it through the later part of this hot summer SUPER pregnant but comfortable. Carol! Lauren! Nancy! And the wonderful crew at Jade, I cannot thank you enough!" - Becca H.

  • Our mom and baby yoga classes will help connect you with a community of moms while getting movement and exercise in a safe and positive space for you and your baby to grow together.

"Dear Nancy, I just wanted to send a note to thank you so much for the work you've done with me in my postpartum physical recovery.  It has been so helpful, both mentally & physically.
The services you provide are so valuable to me and others and it makes me feel well taken care of and cared for.  I have so enjoyed our work together and hope out paths cross again soon."

incontinence, diastasis recti, low back pain, sciatica - get lost!

It is important for new moms to understand that some changes including incontinence (loss of bladder control), diastasis recti (separation of the abdominal wall), and post-partum can be treated through physical therapy. Our treatment plans often focus on helping you build strength, proper ergonomics or flexibility to address any issues that have come up from pregnancy or with caring for a newborn. Often, patients can benefit from multiple modalities such as yoga, acupuncture, dry needling or pool therapy in addition to traditional physical therapy treatment. At Jade we understand that each patient and body is different. All treatments are tailored to your needs and what will be most beneficial for you and your recovery. All Jade providers communicate and collaborate about the care and treatments you are receiving.
