MELISSA BELCHER, MSPT, CAPP-OB

Melissa Belcher received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Husson College in 2001.
The majority of her career has been spent in the outpatient orthopedic setting treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Early in her career, she started working in prenatal and postpartum rehabilitation. At that time, she underwent additional training and received her Certificate of Achievement in Obstetric Physical Therapy (CAPP-OB) from the APTA. She continues to enjoy treating women in this very special period of life.

Melissa has also participated in continuing education focusing on the rehabilitation of running injuries, including courses at Harvard Running Medicine in 2018 and 2019. She enjoys the challenge of helping runners return to their activity without pain. Melissa also continues to enjoy working with a diverse group of orthopedic patients. Her treatment plans incorporate a focus in biomechanics, movement retraining, manual therapy techniques, taping techniques and patient empowerment to help patients reduce pain & meet their personal goals.

In her spare time, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and being outdoors.
