MELISSA BELCHER, MSPT, CAPP-OB
Melissa Belcher received her Masters degree in Physical Therapy from Husson College in 2001.
Early in her career, Melissa pursued additional training and received her Certificate of Achievement in Obstetric Physical Therapy (CAPP-OB) from the APTA. She has over 20 years of experience in the rehabilitation of women during pregnancy and postpartum periods. She continues to enjoy working with this population and feels strongly that a well guided rehabilitation program can help women pass more easily through this phase of life.
In addition to specializing in prenatal and postpartum rehab, Melissa regularly participates in continuing education and has additional training and vast experience in the rehabilitation of general orthopedic injuries, worksite ergonomics, running rehabilitation, and post operative care.
Her treatments focus on identifying the contributing factors to a condition and addressing each with a combination of active movement, hands on care and patient education.
Outside of work, Melissa enjoys being outdoors, reading and spending time with her family.
