Winter Workout Plan

As the weather is getting colder and the days are getting shorter it can be hard to get in a workout. It is really important to maintain a good workout routine through the winter months. This habit can prevent slips and falls, boost your immune system, keep you warm, increase your energy through the shorter/darker days, balance your mood and keep you in good shape for spring! 

Having different outlets to diversify your workout can keep it interesting and fun during the long winter nights. There are a variety of workouts you can do from home when getting outside or to the gym is not an option. Try a few out and find a routine that works for you! 

Whatever your winter workout routine entails make sure to get outside for fresh air and eat a well balanced diet! Winter is a great time to prioritize your health and wellbeing, especially this year, when anxiety and stress is elevated.
