Your Core and Pelvic Floor

Awareness Through Movement

In-Person & Virtual Options Available

Knowledge and awareness is power. Many pelvic floor patients have the same questions. What is the pelvic floor? Why does it matter and can yoga enhance my pelvic health? What is “normal" bladder and bowel function? How do I engage my pelvic floor in yoga or exercise class? If you have any questions regarding the pelvic floor, this workshop is for you.

Join two of our women’s health specialists, Karie Wik DPT, CYT and Amanda Delorme MSOT, CYT, for a two-hour educational yoga-inspired evening. In this workshop, Karie and Amanda will share their expertise on the anatomy and function of the female pelvic floor. They will lead you through some breath work and gentle yoga postures that will increase your self awareness of pelvic floor engagement and coordination. This will empower you to achieve optimal health of your pelvic floor with your current movement practice and learn how these skills can translate into your daily life.
